"If Men Build Self-Control, Women Will Start Roaming Nude"
🚨Me: Men need to cultivate self-control. What a woman wears isn't an invitation for assault.
🚨Men: If men start building self-control, women will start roaming nude.
Isn't this a blatant acceptance that r@pe is based on control, not lust and men's natural hormones?
A man was explaining why men must not build "too much control" to me. As if s*xual vi0lence is some sort of necessary leash to keep women in check.
Let that sink in.He wasn’t exposing women.
- That women’s freedom is dangerous
- That men’s violence is justified as gatekeeper against women's choices
- That fear is an acceptable method of social order
This is not new. It’s ancient.
This is what rape culture looks like when it takes off its polite mask and speaks honestly.
🟥 The Logic of a Threat Disguised as Morality
🔴 “If men control themselves, women will get out of control.”
Translation: “Women’s freedom is a threat, so men must remain dangerous.”
🟡 “Sexual violence keeps women in line.”
Translation: “We don’t prevent harm — we use the threat of it to enforce silence.”
🟢 “We can’t afford to lose this power.”
Translation: “Self-control would take away our favorite weapon.”
💥 Let’s Call It What It Is
- That sentence was not about lust.
- Not about hormones.
- Not about temptation.
- It was about preserving power through fear.
Because when women are free…
Men lose control... And they can't accept it.
📌 If self-control makes women free,
then what you’re protecting isn’t morality — it’s a system of dominance.
📌 If your masculinity depends on women shrinking themselves,
then you are not powerful. You are fragile.
📌 If the threat of sexual violence is treated as a tool,
then that’s not nature. That’s terrorism.
👣 What Happens When Women Are No Longer Afraid?
- We speak.
- We call you out.
- We dress how we want.
- We stop apologizing for existing.
- We stop living life trying not to provoke you.
And that terrifies those who built their manhood on fear-based control.
🔥 So let’s be very clear:
This isn’t about how women behave, what they wear, or roaming nude or in a potato sack.
It’s about how men are taught to dominate — and how society backs it up.
- You’re not protecting us.
- You’re policing us.
- And you’re using the threat of violence as a leash.
We see it.
We name it.
We call it out.
How dare you say that you'll s*xually assault women so they won't "roam naked?"
Remember:
S*xual violence is a crime, not men's rights.
No sane woman will roam around nude. There are designated places to practice nudity. Exercising freedom of dressing isn't the equivalent of exercising nudity.
S*xual violence as tool for control isn't limited to women's clothes. It extends to women doing whatever men deem "wrong" or "mimic men".
Men didn't even see me when they bombarded my DMs with r@pe threats. Their problem wasn't what I was wearing. Their problem was what I was saying things they didn't approve.
🗣 So here’s what I’m saying to every man who thinks this way:
🛑 You are not entitled to women’s fear.
🛑 You are not justified in withholding your self-control as a warning.
🛑 You are not holding society together — you are holding women hostage.
📢 We don’t need less control.
We need less of your permission to exist.
💬 We don’t fear nakedness.
We fear the way some men react to a woman they can’t control. And we are done.
Dear men, cut down on your p0rn consumption. Your p0rn addiction is why you only can wrap your head around "nudity" when women speak about freedom of dressing.
